What to expect:

Hiking is a great entry level athletic adventure. However, it does include risk!

Please be advised that many tails are very steep grades (i.e. Hadley Mt). As such, we will progress at a pace that will help all participants reach the mountain summit safely. We will be in the wilderness and there will be bugs, wildlife, rough terrain, mud (at times), and NO bathrooms.

What to bring:

Adequate closed-toe hiking shoes. (This is the worst time to be "breaking-in" new shoes, plan ahead. NO sandals, flip flops, crocs, or ill-fitted shoes).

Dress for the weather. (it can get very hot and humid on trails and the open summits are more windy and cold. Recommend packing a very lightweight windbreaker, and dressing in comfortable layers.)

Bug Spray (applied before hitting trail so it's less to carry)

Sunblock (applied before hitting trail so it's less to carry)

Refillable Water-Bottle (Something that can clip to you or your backpack to keep your hands free for navigating the terrain.)

Ziplock bag with toilet paper.

Hand Sanitizer

Bagged Lunch

Lightweight Backpack (optional)

*Rain dates - The hike will move to the NEXT day. (FRIDAY)

***Everything that is brought by the participant will be carried by the participant. What is brought in will be brought out. There are no trash cans along the trails. Guides will ensure gear is suitable for the journey. Any participant who arrives in a condition that is deemed unsafe to travel the terrain will be declined to participate with the group.***
